The FAQ

Do you Travel?

I am based in Christchurch but happy to travel anywhere in the world! Just send me a message and lets chat!

How many photos do we get?

The amount of photos you get depends on the package you choose. The best photos from the session will be edited and put into a gallery for you to choose your favourites and theres always the opportunity to add additional photos to your package.
I don't promise a number of images for weddings as there is too many variables to guarentee a specific amount but you can guarantee there will be a lot!

How do we get our photos?

Photos are delivered electronically via pixieset. I can add printed photos or photobooks to any package.

Do you retouch photos?

All photos are retouched to colour correct, adjust lighting and do minor skin retouching to cover minor blemishes. Occasionally objects that distract will be removed from backgrounds of photos.

Whats your turn around time?

You will be provided a sneak peak within 48 hours of your shoot. For weddings turn around is around 4-6 weeks. Family/engagement/maternity sessions are returned to you within 2 weeks of your shoot.

How do we book you?

You can book in by calling me, emailing or messaging through either of my social media platforms.

Can you help us with planning?

YES! Planning the shoot is a major part of our service. I can offer wardrobe advice and location/timing. We work together to execute the best photos for you.

How far ahead can I book?

Books are open one year in advance. You can put a tentative booking in for any length of distance out but this will not be confirmed until one year within the date as pricing and situations may change.

What should we wear?

This is the most common question I hear from clients, what to wear! and this is such an important one. What you wear changes the feel of your photos dramatically. Coordinate the outfits of the people in the photos, this doesn't mean you have to match but it is important to make sure you don't clash. Earthy, neutral and warm tones work well. Try to avoid neon/bright colours and big distracting patterns. Choose a colour pallette and try choose outfits for each person from this pallette. Logos and writing on clothes can draw and distract the eye. If you want to discuss this further feel free to send me a message.
